List your place in under 10 minutes

No agency contract and no photographer to hire: the professional media is on us. The form is shorter than most pizza orders — here’s exactly what it asks.

What you need before you start

  • The basics: address, property type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and what’s furnished
  • Your monthly price — a first guess is fine; you can change it any time
  • The first available date — be precise; this drives which searches you appear in
  • A few phone photos — placeholders are enough in Homechecker cities, where professional media is done for you

That’s genuinely all. The listing form walks you through it in your language, and most landlords finish in under ten minutes.

What happens after you hit publish

  1. Review within 48 hours. The Spotahome team checks your listing, contacts you to confirm details and fills in anything missing.
  2. The Homechecker visit. In cities with local operations, a Homechecker schedules a visit within days to produce your professional photos, HD video tour, 360° images and floor plan.
  3. You go live. Your listing joins a marketplace seen by roughly 20 million visitors a year (Spotahome platform data).

How we charge: only when you get booked. Spotahome charges 8% of the total contract value, once, and only when a booking completes. Listing, review and professional media are included. Worked example →

Mistakes that slow new listings down

  1. A vague availability date. “Sometime in autumn” doesn’t exist in a search filter. Pick the real date.
  2. Leaving rooms or amenities blank. Empty fields mean missing from filtered searches — complete listings simply appear more often.
  3. Overthinking the description. Two honest paragraphs beat a delayed listing. You can polish it after the Homechecker visit, when you see the photos.
